Sciver-Brunt Retains World No.1 T20 Ranking

England captain Natalie Sciver-Brunt has retained top spot in the Women’s T20 Player Index.

Sciver-Brunt remains No.1, a ranking she took in July, while another former top-ranked player, Australian Ellyse Perry, is hot on her heels after climbing to No.2.

In the immediate positions below, India’s Shafali Verma and Sri Lanka’s Chamari Athapathtu are celebrating career-best rankings. Verma is at No.3, while Athapathtu sits at No.4.

Perry’s compatriot Grace Harris is back inside the top 10, sitting at No.9, while he biggest climber in the top 20 is Smriti Mandhana.

She has moved up 14 places to No.12.

There are four new entrants to the top 100 – Annerie Dercksen, Shree Charani, Katherine Fraser and Grace Ballinger.

England’s Jemima Spence is the only fresh entrant to the top 300.
