Will Jacks Still T20 World No.1

Will Jacks Still T20 World No.1

Will Jacks has retained his spot at the top of the Men’s T20 Player Index – despite significant changes to the top 10.

Jacks, the first Englishman to hold the number one position, sits 100 points clear of Hardik Pandya, who has climbed from 3rd to 2nd, at the top of the pile.

There have been significant changes in the top 10, which now features four Indians, while the top eight all hold career high standings.

Significant moves include Abhishek Sharma climbing almost 20 places to number three, Sam Curran climbing to four, and Finn Allen leaping from 41st to fifth.

The other big climbers in the top 10 are Jason Holder (47th to 6th), Shivam Dube (70th to 7th) and Rachin Ravindra (29th to 8th).

The biggest mover in the top 50 is Cooper Connolly, rising almost 300 places from 316th to 26th.

Teenage wonderkid Vaibhav Suryavanshi sits just outside the top 100 at number 106, having climbed over 400 places. The Index is measured across a three-year period but worth noting that Suryavanshi ranks 18th in the world over the last 12 months. Given he has only played in the IPL, he is set for a quick charge towards the top 10 over the coming year.
