04 Dec Perry leads the pack in T20 World Rankings
Ellyse Perry has retained her place at the top of the pile in the latest Women’s T20 Player Index.
The Australian spent 2022 and 2023 outside of the top 10 but returned to the number one spot in March and has stayed there since.
West Indies’ Hayley Matthews has climbed seven places to number in the latest chart, while World Cup MVP Amelia Kerr is just behind in third.
Among other members of the current top 10, Alice Capsey (at number seven) and Chamari Athapaththu (at number eight) have reached to career-high positions.
Capsey’s England teammates Natalie Sciver-Brunt and Sophie Ecclestone – numbers four and six seven respectively – have also made the top 10.
It is rounded off by Marizanne Kapp (number five), Chamari Athapaththu (number eight), Grace Harris (number nine) and Deepti Sharma (number 10).
Chloe Tryon (up 21 places to number 22) is the biggest climber in the top 25, while Kavisha Dilhari is the biggest climber in the top 50 (up from number 122 to number 46).
Qiana Joseph has also entered the top 100 for the first time, having risen more than 500 places form her position in March.
The Index is the only platform that takes into account performances in all international and domestic T20 cricket.
