Wanindu Hasaranga still World T20 No.1 – just

Sri Lankan all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga remains top of the men’s T20 Player Index, just ahead of Will Jacks in the latest standings.

The Surrey and England allrounder has jumped up to a career-high position courtesy of Rashid Khan dropping to fifth. The Afghanistan legspinner has taken four wickets in as many Indian Premier League games so far for Gujrat Titans.

Hardik Pandya is the top-rated Indian having moved up four places to No.6.  Returning from a break due to personal reasons, Virat Kohli is now back inside the top 20 at No.18 after a strong start to the tournament for Royal Challenger Bengaluru including two fifties in four games.

Current top wicket-taker Mustafizur Rahman is back into the top 100, up 21 places to No.82. He has taken seven scalps for Chennai Super Kings despite struggling during Bangladesh’s home series against Sri Lanka.

After hitting the ground running following his return to cricket, former world No.12 Rishabh Pant has climbed over 200 places back up to No.267, following 16 months out of the game

Zimbabwean Sikander Raza has slid into the top 10 and currently sits at No.7 despite making just a single appearance for Punjab Kings in the IPL.

England white ball captain, Jos Buttler is the highest rated non-allrounder in the rankings, moving up to No.4 despite enduring a tough start to the competition – 35 runs in three innings – at the top of the order for Rajasthan Royals.
